Talmadge Davis We regret to inform you that award-winning artist, Talmadge Davis, has crossed into the spirit world at the young age of 43. Talmadge passed on as a result of an aortic aneurysm that occurred while he slept on November 3, 2005. Through his family and friends, his art will live on. Talmadge wanted his art to tell the story of his Cherokee heritage, as well as that of other Native tribes. His art told the stories of the times from the 1700’s through the mid-1800’s and will continue to educate people for many years to come. This is the legacy he lived and wanted to leave to his people. He is missed by all who knew him... |
